Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 5, 2026
FireWatch Pro ("we," "us," or "our") operates the firewatchpro.watch website and the FireWatch Pro mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, job title, and role within your organization.
Location Data: Our Service uses GPS and NFC technology to verify fire watch patrol compliance. Location data is collected when contractors scan NFC checkpoint tags during active fire watch shifts.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our Service, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps of actions taken.
Communication Data: We record SMS messages, voice calls, and in-app notifications sent through our alert system, including delivery status and responses.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain our fire watch compliance management Service
- Send SMS alerts, shift reminders, and escalation notifications
- Verify contractor presence at fire watch checkpoints via NFC and GPS
- Generate compliance reports for property managers and fire departments
- Communicate with you about your account, shifts, and work orders
- Improve and optimize our Service
SMS AND VOICE COMMUNICATIONS
By providing your phone number and creating an account, you consent to receive SMS messages and automated voice calls from FireWatch Pro related to fire watch operations, including shift reminders, missed check-in alerts, and escalation notifications. Message frequency varies based on your role and active fire watch assignments. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP or contact support@firewatchpro.watch.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Property managers and fire departments as part of compliance reporting
- Your contracting company for scheduling and coordination purposes
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, listed in full below
- Law enforcement or regulatory agencies when required by law
The service providers (sub-processors) we use, and what each one receives:
- Base44 — hosting, database, account authentication and backend processing. Handles all data you enter into the app, including your account details.
- Resend — transactional email (assignments, bulletins, alerts, support replies). Receives your email address and message content. Resend delivers using Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES).
- Twilio — escalation SMS and voice calls. Receives the phone number and message content for those alerts.
- Google Maps Platform — address autocomplete and geocoding for property locations. Receives the property addresses entered or looked up.
- Anthropic — powers the in-app Blaze assistant. Receives the questions you type to the assistant and the app context needed to answer them. It is not used to train their models.
- NERIS / Fire Safety Research Institute — public fire-jurisdiction data used to identify the fire department covering a property. Receives property location only.
Push notifications, when enabled, are delivered through Apple (APNs) on iOS and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) on Android.
DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Service. Fire watch compliance records, including check-in logs, communication records, and patrol data, are retained for a minimum of 7 years to meet regulatory requirements.
DATA SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, and role-based access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may request to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account (subject to regulatory retention requirements)

ACCOUNT DELETION
You can request deletion of your FireWatch Pro account and associated data in either of two ways:
- In the app: sign in, open Settings (your profile / account menu), tap Delete Account, and confirm. If a fire watch is currently in progress, complete or end it first.
- By email: email support@firewatchpro.watch from the address on your account with the subject "Delete My Account." We verify and process the request within 30 days.
- Full details: see firewatchpro.watch/DeleteAccount, which sets out exactly what is deleted and what is retained.
What is deleted: your name, email address, phone number, job title, role, organization association, login credentials, and profile. After deletion you can no longer sign in and stop receiving all SMS, voice, and push notifications.
What is retained: fire-watch compliance records (check-in / patrol logs with their timestamps and locations, and communication records tied to a fire watch) are kept in de-identified form for a minimum of 7 years to satisfy fire-safety and legal requirements. They are not used to re-identify you and are not sold or shared for advertising.
